Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance (2015)

Holy shit, guys and gals.  It’s my 200th B-Movie Enema.

I’ll get to the more serious shit at the end of my look at this movie to try to sum up how it feels to be 200 enemas old.  But I can say this – it doesn’t hurt nearly as much as you might think.  In fact, I think I’m starting to like it.

So this week’s piece (of shit) is all about Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance.  Frankly, I almost have to talk about this movie.  Everyone in the world, for the past several years, have talked about Samurai Cop.  It’s an infamous bad movie.  However, if you come here each week to read about these goddamn movies, you know all about Samurai Cop.  If nothing else, you’re aware of it or have seen clips from it.  It’s Ed Wood famous.  It’s mind-boggling in its structure and the way it plays out.

The Sleeper (2012)

It’s another Friday, so that means NEW B-MOVIE ENEMA DAY!

This week, I have something a little more recent and from a group I’ve come to greatly appreciate.  The Sleeper is a 2012 slasher/thriller from Gamma Knife Films and Scream team Releasing.  It was written and directed by Justin Russell.  It’s meant to emulate the style of low budget slashers than ran wild after the release of 1978’s Halloween and 1980’s Friday the 13th.

Tammy and the T-Rex (1994/2019)

Every now and then a movie suddenly finds its audience.  Take The Rocky Horror Picture Show, for example.  Sure, it didn’t find that audience immediately, but within a couple years of release, the mega fans were showing up at midnight showings in costume and so forth.  With the advent of home video and the explosion of home entertainment via cable and a video rental store in almost every strip mall as well as even grocery stores, movies that didn’t do so well in theaters suddenly had a second life.

Then comes this curious little direct-to-video movie called Tammy and the T-Rex.  Aside from it featuring two very young, and very pretty future stars in Denise Richards and Paul Walker, it was relatively overlooked as a low budget teenage romantic comedy.

Pool Party Massacre (2017)

Ah…  HorrorHound Weekend.  It’s a place of wonders for me.  Quite frankly, if it wasn’t for Vinegar Syndrome and Severin supplying the b-movie goodness, I could easily supply an entire year’s worth of B-Movie Enema articles by attending a single HorrorHound in either my hometown of Indianapolis or about an hour and half down the road in Cincinnati.  HorrorHound and Days of the Dead are havens for gray market movies, indie horror, and even, yes, um, *cough* boot*cough*legs.

My point is, the last time I went to HorrorHound in March 2019 in Cincy, I came back with an embarrassingly large stack of movies.  So, look out, 2020, B-Movie Enema will still be going strong.  But for this week, we go back to 2018’s visit to Indy’s HorrorHound Weekend and a charming little table run by Scream Team Releasing.  They are a little company that helps release indie horror flicks.  They were selling and/or distributing The Barn (a movie I’m adding to my regular rotation of October horror to celebrate Halloween with), Dude Bro Party Massacre III, and Bong of the Living Dead.  Those latter two, remember what I said about 2020…

Frankenstein Created Bikers (2016)

It’s time to return to the world of one Mr. James Bickert.

Last year, I wrote about Amazon Hot Box right here on B-Movie Enema.  Then, earlier this year, I named it one of the best movies I saw in 2018 on the podcast I co-host, Film Seizure.  I promised I’d return to the indie filmmaker and that leads us to this week’s feature about a reanimated outlaw biker being chased by a grenade-tossing femme fatale (among other things I will get to throughout the article) – Frankenstein Created Bikers.

That name alone is freakin’ sweet, ain’t it?  This movie reunites several who participated in Amazon Hot Box.  Not only is it a Jimmy Bickert flick, but it also stars Jett Bryant and the incredibly lovely duo of Tristan Risk and Ellie Church.  But wait!  There’s more!  This movie also features Alison Maier from Space Babes from Outer Space as well as Joe Bob Briggs’ very own mail girl in a very brief scene doin’ her thing, Diana Prince (AKA Darcy). The Cinema Snob Movie (2012)

After Blue March, I wasn’t exactly sure where to go for the next B-Movie Enema.  I mean where do you go after you’ve watched five consecutive pornos from the 70s and 80s?  Who or what should I feature that could possibly make you feel a little less sleazy about watching pornos for your movie review site?

Then it hit me – Brad motherfuckin’ Jones.

Yup, the Cinema Snob himself.  Shit, that guy has seen waaaaaay more porn that I have.  He might even argue that his entire career is owed greatly to the golden age of porn.  Jones has made a handful of movies over the years – either as a writer or director or both.  I could have looked at several of his credits – the hilarious Jesus, Bro! or some of his smaller budget movies like Disco or Paranoia.  Ultimately, there really is only one thing I could possibly choose, the 2012 origin film of his most popular character, The Cinema Snob Movie. Sheborg (aka SheBorg Massacre, 2016)

Australia – the land of scary ass deadly spiders, nasty snakes, kangaroos that will probably kick you in the balls, koalas with chlamydia, and movies!

The land down under has given us lots of entertainment over the years like Russell Crowe, Yahoo Serious, OG Mad Max, Paul Hogan.  You know, people you probably don’t really want to hang out with (though Yahoo Serious is probably cool).  Since about the 70s or so, they have been pumping out a certain brand of movies too usually referred to as “ozploitation”.  These movies started rolling out over the 70s and 80s after the R rating was introduced.  There are some spectacular entries under the ozploitation banner too – Mad Max, Thirst, Dead End Drive-In, and Patrick to just name a few.  Thirst, is a particular favorite of mine.

Space Babes from Outer Space (2017)

A few weeks ago, I had a big ol’ love fest over a little movie I picked up while I was at HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis this past August – Amazon Hot Box.  It was a marvelous little love letter to the exploitation and women in prison movies of the 70s.  It was brought to us by Work In Progress Films and writer/director James Bickert.  It was such a lovely throwback to those bonkers movies of evil wardens, sexy prisoners, silly side plots that ultimately lead nowhere, and all the things that I love about exploitation cinema.

It’s time to do it again with another filmmaker who is associated with Work In Progress and James Bickert, Brian K. Williams.  Here we have a good old fashioned story about buxom babes from beyond our world with a title that makes me giggle every time I say it (seriously, as my friend who had to hear me giggle every time she heard me say it at HorrorHound Weekend) – Space Babes from Outer Space!
